Contusion is a type of soft tissue injuries. Contusion is the crushing of soft tissues by a violent external force without breaking the continuity of skin. Sometimes in such cases muscles fail to respond. In severe cases muscles become completely inactive.
- Discoloration under the skin, this starts from redness to turning blue or black gradually.
- Swelling and pain on contused part.
- Stiffness over the area.

- Avoid further friction.

- Anti-tetanus injection should be taken.
